Health Professions Libraries Hours of Operation

Off-Campus Access to UIW Libraries Resources

A wide range of online journals, books, videos, and databases are available 24/7 through the UIW Libraries. Many of these online resources are limited to only current UIW users, To find out more about how to gain access to these UIW-only resources, please see Off-Campus Access to Library Resources.

Computer or Study Space Reservations and Printing

The Cardinal LibSeats app allows library users to reserve a seat at a computer or in a quiet study space at UIW Libraries locations. To learn more about reserving seats, please see Computer and Study Spaces. Three feet of social distancing is in place during this phase.

Printers in the Mabee Library may be used for scanning or copying, or to print documents from your own computer. To print using a library computer, please reserve a seat at a computer. For more information, please go to Technology at the Library.

Requesting Library Materials

To get a physical item from the library, select the Request option in the item record retrieved by your search in the library’s Primo catalog. For more details, see Request Books or AV Materials.

Mabee Library stacks will remain closed during the Library of Congress collection conversion project.  Faculty may make an appointment for access to the stacks during the  conversion project.

To get a physical or electronic item from another library, select the Interlibrary Loan option in the item record retrieved by your search in the library’s catalog. For more details, see Borrowing From Other Libraries.

Virtual Reference and Support

Reference and research assistance are available via chat, text, phone, email, and Zoom during the hours shown under the Library Hours section of the right-hand side of the library homepage. Please see Ask Us for additional information.
