Web Site Launch Frequently Asked Questions
No, they are not missing at all. In an effort to streamline and maximize the effectiveness of our greater web presence, many of our more internally-based pages and departments have been removed from Google's search engine but are still readily available via the search box at the top right corner of all pages in our UIW web environment.
Additionally, during the process of migrating from one Content Management System to another, many pages in the old environment were consolidated to make our web environment more efficient. We recommend that you have a look around the new version of the old site and see if the information you need has been reorganized into another page.
If you still can't find the resources you are looking for contact us at email@example.com.
The majority of web pages have the same URL as on the previous site. Some, like the health profession schools, have changed. To compensate for this, redirects have been created to send traffic to the new URL or to the home page of the school. Therefore, the current web address on printed items will work. If, however, you find a web address is not working, complete the Update Site Request form and a redirect will be created for that page. All redirects will stay in place for approximately one year. When you need to reprint materials throughout the course of that year, make sure to update the web address/URL.
