2017-2018 Residence Life Staff Recruitment

Institutional Review Board Online System Training and Q&A

UIW Highlight
Dr. Annemarie Walsh Memorial Service
Dr. Annemarie Walsh, former director of the UIW Fashion Management program, passed away surrounded by her family on Dec. 19, 2016. In 1993, Dr. Walsh became the director of the Fashion Management and Design department until her retirement in 2007. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Jan. 28, in Our Lady's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Dr. Annemarie Walsh Scholarship Fund by calling (210) 829-6013.
Bereavement Notice
Rosalinda Villarreal, secretary to the Dean of Pharmacy Practice, Feik School of Pharmacy, is mourning the loss of her mother, Jovita D. Villarreal, who passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17. A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd., 78237). Funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m., Monday, Jan. 23, at St. Jude's Catholic Church (130 S. Promoting Harmony in the Classroom

Presentation Software with a Difference: Sway and Thinglink
This Center for Teaching and Learning workshop will be in two sessions at 12 p.m. in the Admin. Bldg., Room 212 with lunch provided. Sway, a Microsoft product, is designed to present ideas simply and vividly on a screen rather than to an audience in a classroom or at a conference.
