Board of Trustees By-Laws

Branding and Artwork

(2014) The Visual Corporate Identity Committee (VCIC) maintains policies and procedures to ensure that approved standards are met on all university communications, including departmental and student publications and promotional items. Policies for use of UIW brands and artwork are published on the web pages for Visual Identity and Licensing.

(2014) (12.4) UIW provides all students, faculty, staff, administrators, and San Antonio community members the ability to bring their concerns and observations to the attention of university officials through a central complaint portal maintained by the Dean of Campus Life. The Student Complaint Policy, including specific steps to address course work concerns, is an important section of the Student Handbook as well as the Faculty Handbook.

(Employees) (Jan 2018) This requires all employees to register international travel to assure their safety while traveling and in the event of emergencies abroad.

Smoking Policy

(2014) This policy specifies the limited areas and circumstances where individuals may smoke on campus. The policy is maintained by the office of Environmental Healthy, Safety and Risk Management.

Staff and Administrators Handbook

Student Complaint Policy

Student Employment

(2014) Beginning June 1, 2014, all student employment positions must be paid on an hourly basis. Student employment is limited to 20 hours per week while class is in session and between semesters. Student employees may work for one department at a time. The Student Employment Handbook can be found on the UIW Human Resources web page under "Recruitment & Staffing Information".
