Undergraduate Core Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to evaluate the nature and consequences of past, present, and potential social injustices, as well as to develop strategies to overcome and prevent them.

Assessment Report - 2016 (PDF)- Student learning for this outcome was assessed in 2016 in the report linked on the left. The impact of UIW's graduation requirement for student community service is also assessed continually by the Ettling Center for Civic Leadership. The main assessment resource is the Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership (MSL), a survey tool that gives insight into how students understand social justice and civic leadership.
