Prior to Returning to Campus, Students, Employees and Visitors Should

• Visit the COVID-19 site for the latest safety policies and procedures.
• Make sure you have a mask - masks are required for all individuals on campus, regardless of vaccination status. 

Aerobic Classes require reservations. Workouts do not require any reservations.

All UIW Students, Faculty and Staff will need to take the following steps to login to their account

• Click on the link below
• Click on "Sign In" at the top right hand corner
• Click "Forgot Your Password"
• Your username is your UIW Email
  • If you are a student, input your UIW Email without the "student" in it
  • Example: "kjohns@student.uiwtx.edu" will be inputted as "kjohns@uiwtx.edu"
• Login to your UIW Email, find the email from UIW Wellness and click "Reset your Password"

Aerobic class workouts are all listed under Activities.

Things to Bring with You

• UIW ID or other government issued form of identification
• Personal water bottle (filling stations available as well as water fountains)
• Minimal personal belongings that will be able to remain with you at all times, OR bring a lock and use a locker to secure your belongings during your workout

Things to Note

• No sharing of equipment
• Individual workouts only, no groups allowed
• Disinfecting stations throughout the facility

In Order to Enter the Natatorium You Will Need To

• Swipe your UIW ID to enter
• If you do not have a UIW ID, you must have another form of government issued identification, i.e. driver's license or passport.

Health and Safety are paramount to the University of the Incarnate Word and the Sports and Wellness department. Taking steps to minimize the risk of COVID-19 infections (or any other spread of disease) at UIW and in our community is a shared responsibility and a critical part of caring for all who live, work and learn with us.

In order to protect the UIW Community, the Sports and Wellness department will be utilizing a 3-tier disinfecting system for all of its facilities.

Disinfecting Procedures

Patron

Patron responsibility: Before and after each use of exercise equipment, patrons will wipe down the equipment with provided disinfecting supplies. This is an unchanged procedure from the previous years is a critical responsibility in disease control.

Facility

Sports and Wellness responsibilities: At the conclusion of the final available workout session, staff will perform disinfecting procedures utilizing a disinfecting misting system, designed for maximum penetration and disinfection.

It takes a communal effort to maintain the health and safety of the Ann Barshop Natatorium, please ensure that you are doing your part to protect your fellow cardinal.
