UIW Club Sports is an organized sport for the purpose of furthering common interests in competition with other universities and colleges. UIW Club Sport participation is voluntary and based on a participation fee. UIW Club Sports Athletes cannot receive athletic scholarships.
Club Sports at UIW are designed to serve students in a variety of sports including: Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Co-ed Powerlifting, Men's Lacrosse, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Men's Volleyball, Women's Volleyball, Co-ed Trap and Skeet, Co-ed Triathlon, and eSports. Sporting interests can be competitive, recreational, or instructional in nature, as clubs may represent the University in intercollegiate competition or conduct intra-club activities such as practice, instruction, social, tournament and league play. Athletes and teams represent UIW on a local, regional, and national competitions. UIW Club Sports is designed to provide students at the undergraduate, master, and PhD level an opportunity to continue their athletic career at the collegiate level. Club Sport Athletes do not and cannot compete in NCAA Sports in the same academic semester. Participation in some Club Sports count towards NCAA years of eligibility.
