UIW Placement Testing

Attention: Accuplacer exams can be scheduled on the Department of Mathematics and Statistics home page.

Course Placement Policy

College Level Math Readiness Scores:

  • SAT Math score at or above 550
  • ACT Math score of 22 or above
  • ACCUPLACER Math score of 63 or above
  • TSI Score of 350 or above

If you qualify for testing accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), please contact the Coordinator of Testing, Matthew Gonzalez, at mgonza17@uiwtx.edu, to make arrangements for your test. Prior registration with the UIW Student Disability Services office is required.
