Career Services is committed to empowering and educating students and alumni on career development topics. Relationships between faculty/staff and Career Services strengthen our pursuit to ensure every student we assist has the proper resources throughout their career development journey.
Our office understands that as faculty members, you are often called upon to help students make important decisions regarding their choice of major or career. We also understand these decisions can be difficult given the constantly changing work world.
Career Services can help!
Career Services is charged with staying up to date with best practices that affect the work world, and ultimately, our students. Career Services assists all current UIW students and alumni at every point in their career development journey. We assist them in making career plans, obtaining career-related experience, and providing resources that make our Cardinals more employable upon graduation. This assistance is often provided in the form of individual counseling, professional development workshops, or classroom presentations.
Professional Development Workshops
We encourage faculty to bring their class to our Professional Development workshops. If you would like for our office staff to present to your class on a specific career development topic, please submit our online presentation request form below.
