Residence Life and Housing Operations will host several closing information sessions throughout the residence halls. It is important for all residents to attend a closing information session to ensure you are prepared for closing and check outs.

Residence Hall Closing Agenda

The Department of Residence Life and Housing Operations is preparing for your arrival to campus! We will maintain all important and necessary Move-In Day information on this portion of our website. Think of this as your one-stop shop to prepare for that exciting day! Please review our upcoming move in day information Summer 2025!

Summer 2025 Move-In Information

We cannot wait to have you arrive to campus for the Summer 2025 semester! The following information will help prepare you for a quick and easy check in.

• Sign Up: All residents must sign up for a check-in time. New residents must ensure all required items on Step 2 of "Our Process" must be completed prior to your check-in time.

  • Please review our move-in Schedule to begin planning your arrival to campus. We are able to check students in between the following hours:
    • Summer I
      • Friday, May 30th - 1pm-5pm
      • Sunday, June 1st - 1pm-5pm
    • Summer II
      • Saturday, July 5th - 1pm-5pm
      • Sunday, July 6th - 1pm-5pm

• Location: All check ins will occur in the Student Engagement Center on the 2nd floor, rooms 2050-2052 in the Student Engagement Center Ballroom. Once you have arrived at our check in location, you will proceed to the 2nd floor to complete your check in!
• Red Bin Check Out Location: We have have limited numbers of red moving bins available for 1 hour check outs. The bin distribution centers are located at our check in location.

Our Process

1. Please note that all Residence Life paperwork must be completed prior to checking in. This paperwork includes:
   • Move-in Acknowledgement
2. Bring your UIW Student ID and proceed to the 2nd level!

For first time students moving away from home, Move-In Day can be filled with excitement at meeting your roommate, decorating your room, and exploring all that our beautiful campus has to offer. For our upper level students, Move-In Day often feels like returning home. We will maintain all important and necessary Move-In Day information on this portion of our website. Fall 2025 Move-In Information

We cannot wait to have you arrive to campus for the 2025-2026 academic year! The following information will help prepare you for a quick and easy check in.

• Sign Up: All residents must sign up for a check-in time. New residents must ensure all required items on Step 2 of "Our Process" must be completed prior to your check-in time.
  • Sign Up Link will go live on June 1st
  • Please review our move-in Schedule to begin planning your arrival to campus. We are able to check students in between the following hours:
    • Thursday, August 21st - 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm (First Year Students)
    •  Friday, August 22nd - 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm (Upper Level Students)
    • Saturday, August 23rd - 10am-4pm (All Students)
    • Sunday, August 24th - 1pm-4pm (All Students)

• Location: All check ins will occur in the Student Engagement Center on the Mezzanine Level, in the Student Engagement Center Ballroom. Once you have arrived at our check in location, you will proceed to the Mezzanine to complete your check in!
