The Department of Residence Life and Housing Operations is preparing for your arrival to campus! For first time students moving away from home, Move-In Day can be filled with excitement at meeting your roommate, decorating your room, and exploring all that our beautiful campus has to offer. For our upper level students, Move-In Day often feels like returning home. We will maintain all important and necessary Move-In Day information on this portion of our website. Think of this as your one-stop shop to prepare for that exciting day! Please review our upcoming move in day information for Summer and Fall 2024!

Summer Move-In Information

We cannot wait to have you arrive to campus for the Summer 2024 semester. The following information will help prepare you for a quick and easy check in.

Sign Up: All residents must sign up for a check-in time. New residents must ensure all required items on Step 2 of "Our Process" must be completed prior to your check-in time.
- Sign Up Link will go live on Monday, May 20th!
- Please review our move-in Schedule to begin planning your arrival to campus. We are able to check students in between the following hours:
  - - Summer I
      - Friday, May 31st: 1pm-5pm
      - Sunday, June 2nd: 1pm-5pm
    - Summer II
      - Friday, July 5th: 1pm-5pm
      - Sunday, July 7th: 1pm-5pm
Location: All check ins will occur in the Student Engagement Center on the 2nd level, Rooms 2050-2052. Once you have arrived at our check in location, you will proceed to the 2050s to complete your check in!

Fall 2024 Move-In Information

We cannot wait to have you arrive to campus for the 2024-2025 academic year! The following information will help prepare you for a quick and easy check in.

Sign Up: All residents must sign up for a check-in time. New residents must ensure all required items on Step 2 of "Our Process" must be completed prior to your check-in time.
- Sign Up Link will go live on Friday, May 31st!
- Please review our move-in Schedule to begin planning your arrival to campus. Please note that the following times are currently tentative. We are able to check students in between the following hours:
  - Thursday, August 22nd - 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm (First Year Students)
  - Friday, August 23rd - 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm (Upper Level Students)
  - Saturday, August 24th - 1pm-5pm (All Students)
  - Sunday, August 25th - 1pm-5pm (All Students)

Location: All check ins will occur in the Student Engagement Center on the Mezzanine Level, in the Student Engagement Center Ballroom. Once you have arrived at our check in location, you will proceed to theMazzanine to complete your check in!

Our Process

Please continue to monitor your Cardinal Email for important changes and updates concerning any Health and Safety Policies at the university.
Please note that all Residence Life paperwork must be completed prior to checking in. This paperwork includes:
- Electronic Key Form
Proceed to the designated parking by the Student Engagement Center
Bring your UIW Student ID and proceed to the 2nd level!
