#NotInMyNest
The Not In My Nest campaign encourages all members of the UIW community to take on the shared responsibility in addressing sexual violence and other forms of sexual misconduct. When all members of our community take positive steps to stop sexual misconduct, we create a safer community for everyone at UIW. Not In My Nest re-affirms that everyone has the power to act when they witness speech or actions that perpetuate behaviors that are not acceptable and could lead to sexual misconduct and sexual violence.
Sexual violence affects victims’ relationships with their family, friends, and co-workers. As part of the Not In My Nest campaign, the Office of Title IX works in tandem with other departments and organizations on and off-campus to raise awareness of these issues and bring educational programming to all members of the UIW community. The campaign seeks to take a proactive approach to combating sexual violence on the UIW campus.
