Student Services at the UIW Mabee Library

The library provides the instruction, support services, and the resources to help you meet your academic and personal research goals. Librarians can help you develop the critical thinking and evaluation skills that will support you on your academic journey. UIW Libraries staff want to ensure that we support life-long learning.

Not sure where to begin? Our Reference Librarians and staff are here to help you in person or through Ask Us, where we offer phone, email, text, and chat services.

The Circulation Staff, housed near the main entrance, are experts in using Mabee Library assets, spaces, and have general UIW information. The Circulation Desk is the place where you can check-out books and media and check to see if something has been placed on course reserve by your instructor. What you may not know is that you may also borrow umbrellas, headphones, mobile devices, other equipment, and keys to group study rooms. You will pick up interlibrary loan materials here too. These knowledgeable and service-oriented folk will also show you how to set-up your debit account for printing and copying.
