The Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) is here to assist UIW faculty in integrating proven and consistent pedagogical practices into their teaching. We offer professional development and work in partnership with educators and instructional designers to implement ongoing learning and engagement strategies in academic courses and university initiatives.
Instructional Design & Technology
Instructional Design & Technology roles support educators through every step of their instructional journey and provide course design and educational software support across the university. Our instructional designers, software specialists, and LMS Administrator study current research and emerging trends to partner with educators working to craft quality student learning experiences.

Media Services
The Media Services team oversees the integration of audiovisual solutions found across UIW's San Antonio campuses, supporting the needs of UIW personnel as they use our classrooms, and meeting areas, and manage university digital signage.
