Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology
The Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology was formed by combining the Academic Technology department and the Center for Teaching and Learning. This partnership looks to advance the UIW mission by working with faculty and staff to encourage a university culture that rewards teaching and learning excellence. Under the guidance of Kathy Bottaro, each team within the department works with synergy to address instructional, pedagogical, and audiovisual-based needs across UIW.

Center for Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching and Learning is here to assist UIW faculty in integrating proven and consistent pedagogical practices into their teaching. We work in partnership with our Instructional Designers to find the best strategies that you can implement to foster ongoing learning and engagement.

Instructional Technology
The Instructional Technology team supports educators through every step of their instructional journey and provides curriculum, instructional software, and development support across the university. Our Instructional Designers study current research and emerging trends to inform our work and partner with experts on teaching and learning, both inside and outside the UIW community. Additionally, we have Software Specialists on board to provide support and resources to the software and services that are widely available to UIW personnel.
