A support structure is in place to assist instructors or staff with audio/visual issues while using classroom equipment, regardless of whether the class is in session. The instructor or facilitator can use the contact information below to submit a ticket and a technician will attend to their needs. In some cases, the technician may be able to address the issue over the phone or remotely. If that is not possible, a technician will be sent to the classroom or space to promptly resolve the issue.

The Media Services team aims to make all technologically enhanced spaces as user-friendly as possible. We provide training for classrooms and meeting spaces to ensure that every facilitator is familiar with the room's A/V equipment and can comfortably conduct sessions in those spaces.

A growing number of educational events are now taking place online or in a hybrid format. The Media Services team is available to assist you in planning and understanding the necessary equipment for these events. This includes guidance on setup, potential external services, and preparation.

Make your meeting or event better with our convenient and professional audiovisual equipment. We offer equipment checkout and consultation services for academic coursework and university community events. In some cases, we can also provide support for events. To ensure availability, please book equipment as early as possible.

  • To reserve A/V equipment, go to the 'Resources' section on the information page, select 'UIW A/V Resources' from the drop-down menu, and enter the required equipment for your event or space.

If you are planning a larger-than-normal gathering, a special community event, a virtual or hybrid event, or if you need advice on how a space can be recorded, the Media Services team can assist you. Most classrooms and meeting spaces across UIW campuses have recording capabilities. The logistics may vary depending on the area. If you have specific inquiries about a special event, the team can offer consultation and help you connect with the right contacts to record your event.
