Adobe Creative Cloud
What is Adobe Creative Cloud?
Heard of the phrase "I'll just Photoshop it out"? Or, maybe you've received an Adobe Sign document recently?
These are all part of a larger suite of apps and web services titled Adobe Creative Cloud (aka Creative Cloud, or ACC). Adobe's suite offers professional-grade tools to learn new skills and take advantage of a wide range of cutting-edge software in areas like photography, office productivity, graphic design, video production, and more. Use ACC for all your creative projects, photography, graphic design, video editing, UX design, drawing, painting, social media layouts, and beyond.
Who can use Adobe Creative Cloud?
Faculty and Staff
The Adobe Creative Cloud suite is available to all actively employed UIW faculty and staff, regardless of full or part-time status. These individuals can use their UIW login to license and use Adobe apps and services on up to two devices, simultaneously.
While most apps are available through Cardinal Apps, all UIW-issued devices will come with Adobe Creative Cloud pre-installed. Users can use Creative Cloud to pick and choose which Adobe apps and services they want to download.
Students
Adobe Creative Cloud apps and services are available to students exclusively through vLab (virtual computer lab) or on campus computer labs.** Students are unable to use their UIW login to license and use Adobe apps and services outside these university spaces.
**Some departments and programs may offer, or require, enrolled students access to Adobe applications upon entry.
