Meal Plans

What is a meal plan?

Plans are comprised of two (2) values: Meal Swipes & Dining Dollars

  • Meal Swipes are used in the cafeteria (Student Engagement Center).
    • Meal swipes are per week and do not roll over.

  • Dining Dollars are used at dining locations across campus
    • Dining Dollars are per semester, and they roll over from the fall to the spring.

Students have the option to choose a plan with both values or only dining dollars.

How does it work?

Students will use their university issued student identification card to "pay" for their meals.

  • All meal plans become active move-in week.
  • All residents are required to have a meal plan.
  • Students are able to "reload" their dining dollars in $25 increments

How can I get a meal plan?

All students are eligible to receive a meal plan.

  • Commuter students can sign-up for a meal plan with the business office.
  • Residential students will select their plan option while completing the housing application
    • Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to change your plan in the portal.

Where can I use my plan?

Meal Swipes can be used at the Cafeteria in the SEC. Dining dollars can be used at:

  • Starbucks -- SEC
  • Red’s Pub (Luciano’s) -- SEC Basement
  • Hortencia’s (Chick-Fil-A) -- Administration Building
  • Virtual Dining Concepts -- ICC
  • On-The-Spot Vending Machine -- ICC
