Meal Plans
What is a meal plan?
Plans are comprised of two (2) values: Meal Swipes & Dining Dollars
- Meal Swipes are used in the cafeteria (Student Engagement Center).
- Meal swipes are per week and do not roll over.
- Meal swipes are per week and do not roll over.
- Dining Dollars are used at dining locations across campus
- Dining Dollars are per semester, and they roll over from the fall to the spring.
Students have the option to choose a plan with both values or only dining dollars.
How does it work?
Students will use their university issued student identification card to "pay" for their meals.
- All meal plans become active move-in week.
- All residents are required to have a meal plan.
- Students are able to "reload" their dining dollars in $25 increments
How can I get a meal plan?
All students are eligible to receive a meal plan.
- Commuter students can sign-up for a meal plan with the business office.
- Residential students will select their plan option while completing the housing application
- Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to change your plan in the portal.
Where can I use my plan?
Meal Swipes can be used at the Cafeteria in the SEC. Dining dollars can be used at:
- Starbucks -- SEC
- Red’s Pub (Luciano’s) -- SEC Basement
- Hortencia’s (Chick-Fil-A) -- Administration Building
- Virtual Dining Concepts -- ICC
- On-The-Spot Vending Machine -- ICC
Can I change my plan?
Changes can only occur during active request periods via the Meal Plan Change form.
- June 1 – August 10 (Fall Semester)
- November – December (Spring Semester)
