A worldwide Celebration of International Education and exchange through food, culture, music, art and educational events. Over 15 events on UIW campus.
UIW is proud to participate in International Education Week. Student Organizations, Colleges and Departments are invited to host events related to international education and cultural exchange. International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to the U.S. to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

International Week Committee
Help our team plan and build fun events during International Education Week. From fairs to parade to photo ops that inspire us to appreciate culture and diversity and celebrate our love for travel!
Receive 10-15 hours of community service for helping plan, prepare and execute. Leaders needed!
UIW Parade of Nations:
UIW will host its inaugural UIW Parade of Nations during the opening ceremony of UIW International Education Week. We invite all international student-athletes, exchange students and international students to carry their home country flag with pride during the campus parade on Monday, Nov 15 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The parade will start at the SEC and end in West Gate Circle for the UIW IEW Opening Ceremony.
UIW Study Abroad Fair:
UIW will host as study abroad fair featuring exchange students and previous study abroad participants from our UIW Sister Schools! Sign up to represent your home institution or previous study abroad school, we can help you print flyers or stop by the office to create a Poster Board for your home country and school. Show off your home Sister School!
Tuesday, Nov 18 from 11 a.m.. to 1 p.m. at the SEC Concourse & West Gate Circle
Receive up to 3 hours of community service for preparing food and 4 hours of community service for set-up and serving food. Turn in your receipt for up to $25 reimbursement on food used at the fair.
