IEW Opening Ceremony & UIW Parade of Nations and- 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at UIW Welcome Center & West Gate Circle (Rain Location - SEC Concourse and Mezzanine)

UIW will host its 5th annual UIW Parade of Nations after the opening ceremony of UIW International Education Week. 

At 11:30, the UIW IEW Opening Ceremony will be held at the SEC Welcome Center with guest speaker VP of International Affairs Marcos Fragoso and the presentation of the Outstanding Service Award to the UIW office that has shown outstanding service to UIW international students.

At 11:45, the parade will be led by UIW student-athletes, exchange students, and international students who will carry their home country flag with pride during the campus parade to showcase campus diversity.

Filmed in 10 different countries across the continent of Africa, you will be captivated by breathtaking visuals and heartfelt narratives that showcase the beauty of human interconnection and the transformative power of togetherness. The film features Pato Banton, reggae singer and musician.

Int'l Travel Signature Day - 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at SEC 2051

Are you an F-1 student traveling back home for the Thanksgiving holiday or Winter Break? Usually, travel endorsements take 2-3 weeks to process.

Get same-day service on all travel endorsements during Travel Signature Day. Students must have cleared all business office, registrar holds, be enrolled full time, and have their most recent I-20, passport, visa, and space for a valid travel endorsement to qualify. Hosted by International Student and Scholar Services.
