Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) used here at UIW. This is the environment your instructors will use to primarily exchange course information, take grades, communicate and manage students. As a student, please take some time to get familiar with Canvas with some of the resources below.

The Office of Research and Graduate Studies (ORGS) serves as the advocate for leadership in research and graduate and professional education at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). In collaboration with administrators and faculty, ORGS provides strategic direction, support and oversight to post-baccalaureate education and research at UIW.
University Testing Services (UTS) provides a full range of University and national tests examination services to UIW main campus students and affiliated high schools. University Testing Services' main objective is to serve students and faculty with the utmost professionalism and integrity, in accordance with the National College Testing Association’s Professional Standards and Guidelines (NCTA).
Testing services are available to current UIW students and alumni. All testing schedules are subject to change without notice.
Tutoring Services supports UIW undergraduate students by providing tutoring in course content and effective learning strategies. Their programs foster students’ academic growth in a welcoming environment. Meet with a tutor to strengthen your understanding of concepts, prepare for exams, and learn effective study strategies for your discipline. Tutors have been recommended by faculty and trained to guide you throughout the learning process.
Students can get support and services in all courses, for a variety of circumstances. All UIW courses adhere to the following policies and federal guidelines.
