Priority Registration Schedule and Deadlines
Reminders: (1) It is the responsibility of the student to cancel their registration. (2) Students who do not drop and/or withdraw from courses as well as do not attend courses, will be billed for the course and a failing grade will be issued. (3) Students who register for courses and do not attend, must withdraw from the university BEFORE classes begin to cancel their enrollment and any resulting charges.

Registration Requiring Override Approval
Approval for registration overrides include, but are not limited to the following: (1) Required instructor signature, (2) Department chair signature for fourth enrollment attempt, (3) Dean's signature for time-conflict or pre-requisite, etc. The registration form with appropriate signatures and override may be emailed (registrar@uiwtx.edu) or submitted in person to the Office of the Registrar for processing. Note that due to automated waitlisting, dean approval to override maximum enrollment is NOT necessary, prior to the first day of the semester.
- Students are encouraged to obtain override approval BEFORE registration begins
- Students can request Registrar's Office processing for registration requiring override approval as soon as registration opens.
- NO registration will be processed BEFORE a student's priority registration date/time
- Registration/Add/Drop forms with appropriate signatures may be emailed (registrar@uiwtx.edu) or submitted in person for processing.
